DID YOU KNOW THAT more than half of Knoxville’s homes are IN NEED OF CRITICAL AND EMERGENCY REPAIRS?

More often than not, these homes are occupied by elderly and disabled individuals who live on wages that cannot support the repairs they desperately need.

Operation Backyard exists to meet the needs of families by mobilizing volunteers to provide free emergency home repairs.

Knoxville Leadership Foundation’s Operation Backyard is a year-round program that provides free home repair services for those with limited-income, those who are elderly, and those who are disabled. Operation Backyard utilizes volunteers to provide much-needed home repairs to families across the Knoxville area. Not only do these families have the opportunity to receive home repairs, but volunteer teams have the opportunity to serve within their city.
